Our client is building a Project and Change Delivery function to support business transformation and ensure strategic initiatives are effectively delivered across the organisation. As a Business Analyst, you will play a central role in driving change by bridging the gap between business needs and solutions.
Working as part of cross-functional project teams, you will be responsible for defining and documenting business requirements, improving processes, supporting projects, and ensuring that solutions meet the needs of the business while complying with regulatory and internal and Group standards.
Requirements Gathering:
Work with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business requirements.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to explore needs and issues.
Provide clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications.
Process Improvement:
Map existing processes and design more efficient ones.
Identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Contribute to solutions that enhance operations and service delivery.
Project Support:
Support Project Managers by developing cases, priorities, and timelines.
Collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into solutions.
Testing and Implementation:
Develop and execute test plans and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
Support rollout, training, and communication to stakeholders.
Governance and Documentation:
Ensure all change initiatives follow internal control processes.
Keep accurate and comprehensive documents (project plans, change logs).
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Suggest new ideas or methods to improve delivery and operations.
Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Skills and Experience:
Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workshops.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a well-structured way.
Communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Familiar with financial regulations and internal controls.
