In this role you will help deliver the company’s cloud services, focusing on infrastructure, backup, disaster recovery, network, and security. You’ll handle customer support issues and use your skills to find and fix root causes.
Main Duties:
Investigate and solve customer and system technical issues.
Troubleshoot problems even when no specific procedures exist.
Set up, adjust, and recover customer services efficiently.
Manage support cases with third parties and escalate when needed.
Suggest ways to improve services.
Manage your time between daily tasks and projects.
Skills Needed:
Good knowledge of IT infrastructure: hardware, operating systems, storage, virtualization, networks, and security.
Experience with backup and replication tools.
Relevant qualification like CCNA or VCA, or similar experience.
Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and DNS.
Strong customer service skills.
Able to communicate well by phone and in person.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems independently.
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills.
Experience working with different customers and management.
At least 3 years in a systems admin role, ideally in a service provider setting.
Able to work well in a team and contribute positively.
