Our client is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join their team, responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach to resolving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Helpdesk Support: Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person.
Issue Logging: Accurately log, track, and manage incidents and service requests using the IT service management system.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues, including password resets, software installation, and hardware setup.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Handle more complex technical issues that have been escalated from 1st line support, including in-depth software and hardware problems.
User Training: Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and applications.
System Administration: Assist in the administration of IT systems, including servers, networks, and other infrastructure components.
Incident Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve incidents efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of technical issues and solutions, updating knowledge base articles and technical documentation as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement of IT services.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration.
Advanced trouble shooting skills for Office .365 and other IT systems. Understanding of networking basics. Experience in Active Directory and knowledge of security practices and tools related to Office 365 (e.g MFA, conditional access)
Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a positive user experience.
